This presentation will explore how Xcode’s integrated Coding Assistant leverages leading AI agents to transform natural language prompts into fully functional iOS and Mac applications. Attendees will discover how to guide AI models through the end-to-end development lifecycle, from initial concept wireframing to the final App Store submission.

This professional development day at POWIIS brought together staff to align on whole-school strategy and advance AI integration across all confidence levels. We began with an AI Strategy Working Party, where key stakeholders established a shared purpose, reviewed safeguarding considerations, and outlined the school's long-term framework and philosophy.

Following the strategy alignment, session tracks focused on practical staff development. Participants building confidence in AI got hands-on experience with key tools, explored AI literacy, and reflected on safeguarding in practice, while advanced users dove deeper into sophisticated prompt engineering, critical judgement of AI outputs, and vibe coding tools.

At EduDay 2026 at Spectrum International School, a certified Google Reference School, I presented on AI literacy in primary schools, focusing on how young learners can build a clear, age-appropriate understanding of what AI is, how it works, and how it impacts their everyday lives.

As an EdTech & Innovation Lead, I shared insights on how educators can integrate technology effectively to develop future-ready skills in students, support teachers in technology adoption, and build a mindset of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
